I've been watching development for a year and was one of the lucky ones in the
forum to get one of the first batch sold. The amount of tweaking you can do on
every setting is crazy, meaning it can take some time to settings perfect but
it
is worth it. My buddy had two consoles that red ringed, so I told him I'd fix
both but his payment would be one of the two boxes if both were repairable.

Firmware for the Xim3 is going through weekly updates and changes adding extra
features and hardware support. I'm using an ancient X-arcade joystick on the
left, and a Storm sentinel mouse (5700 DPI) on the right. I just picked up a
sony nav controller after hearing how well this works and am trying it tonite
instead of the x-arcade. I tried a Nostromo N52TE but kept getting fingers on
the wrong buttons and getting slaughtered.

I got interested in gaming on the X360 because my 10 y/o son is always playing.
I tried the controller a couple times and felt like a retard, but figured I
could play if I used a kbd/mouse combo so that's where it all started. I'm
still
trying to get all the settings right but held my own in a laggy "Quake Arena
arcade" game last week so I'm doing a lot better than I would with the
controller :)

This is the most gaming I've done since the E3 days.....feels good

Ok, that is still DAAAAMN expensive for a KB/mouse adapter-it really needs to
be
under $100! Do you have one Lopaka? If so, how is it?
