Thank you. Went to your link and got the proggy.
2 days of playing with, and, I can sorta use it.
Guess what? I so do not live in a CMD line world any
more. Even for troubleshooting. And-
I do not work for the geek-squad.
Besides, the residue of /handle.exe/ does NOT show me
what/who has my USB devices "OWNED."

I look elsewhere for this glitch.

under xp there is also a stand alone program that detects open file handles
and offers to close them for you. I forget the name of the program since it
does not work under vista and windows 7.
