Another strange one for a Friday. XP Pro SP3 machine. The games
folder in the start menu is empty, so I did that Add/Remove Programs,
Windows Components, unchecked Games, then back in a rechecked Games,
and click Next and it tells me "cannot copy [filename]" - with the
filename being freecell.ex_, freecell.hl_, etc, through all the games.
Some the game executables are on the hard drive in the proper places,
and these run if I just click them. If I copy the Game folder from
another PC, some of the games work and some don't. I've tried
telling Windows to copy the files from a CD, and from the i386 folder
on the hard drive with no change. I can create files in the various
folders the games are in, so it doesn't appear to be a permissions issue.
Any ideas?
