Miny RANT! So, Secunia pops ups up and shows me a progy I was not aware of. It is (Vantage Linguistics) AnswerWorks 5.0.
Google tells me lots of folks stuff this add-on. Yes, I use Intuit Turbo-Tax.
Yes, I use Quicken Will-Maker 2010. Seems both of these seem to stuff this program. OK. I know where the AnswerWorks 5.0 'stuff' lives: c:\Program Files\Common Files\AnswerWorks5.0 CCleaner does not list it. Win/Add/Remove programs does not list it. Question: Google tells me I can dig and find out which program is tied to this current install. Very confusing to me. No how-to's shared. Not surprising, I find that Vantage offers little un-install info other than to figure out which 'big' program installed this Vantage helper; and, then just delete the 'big' program. OK................. :( Interesting to note that all the 'AnswerWork5.0' files are dated in the range of 5/24/04 - 6/13/08. The file, awreadme.htm, is of next to zero help! I suppose I might be able to just click the above link: then, DELETE. Opinions/suggestions welcome. /rant Duncan
