Did you unplug & plug into another USB port? Hit the connect buttons on
base & device? AFAIK most brands (if not all) emulate USB KB/Mouse which
should continue to work under windows though device discovery my have
flapped the USB port once too many.

have a ps2 kb/mouse connector. We plan to try again with a wired mouse
and kb, but they are usb.
