Why? All it does is split the modem output to two cables that I ASSUME
ONLY go to
2 routers. Hub? No. The connector has zero electronics.
I admit signal level from the modem may not support the || feed. OR,
Might the 2 routers spend time arguing with each other on their WAN ports?
Curious I am.

My last DSL Router was 1 line in and 1 line out. That line OUT went to
my router.
My LAN was below/beyond my router. But then, I only do 'wired' LAN for
my clients; and, the only
user is myself. JMHO.

Is there tangible merit in the above method? Or should I scrap the WRT54GL
and keep just the ASUS RTN-56U?
