I use a DLink DGL-4500 router. I use it in a wired-only protocol; the 
radio(s) are
disabled.

Can the RT-56U (or new RT-66U) be used in a wired-only configuration?
I wish to quash the expense/features negative business. The Cadillac vs. 
Vega
business is not necessary. I will upgrade to whatever because I can 
should it
serve my needs; even though I continue to slog on with XP pro.
