Anthony,
TANKS! Yes, I use my router sans antennas. But, the f/w let's me disable the radio(s). I will wait, read, smurf, and ask silly questions. The ASUS-USA site does not wish to share any docs for the N56U or the N66U. But, I did take a ride on the N56U demo and the N66U demo. I did not see any switch to disable WIFI (radios). More wait!
Best,
Duncan

I'd be really shocked if you can't turn off the wireless, though. However, if you can't, you can certainly remove the antennas (they are exposed now -- which is a good thing as they can be replaced too).

Can the RT-56U (or new RT-66U) be used in a wired-only configuration?

I wish to quash the expense/features negative business. The Cadillac vs. Vega business is not necessary. I will upgrade to whatever because I can should it
serve my needs; even though I continue to slog on with XP pro.
Thanks,
Duncan
