And it won't let you set it as an imap account?  Steps are pretty 
straightforward

 So recently, with the purchase of my Windows phone, I saw the need and/or
benefit of moving my 'stuff' into the "cloud". I am using the web interface
of 1&1 email but it's slower then sh1t and doesn't work well on my xoom or
esp. my windows phone. I have considered Gmail but I don't care for all the
extra BS that's in use and I'm scared to trust all my email to MS & Live.
Anyone have any suggestions for a web email that can access imap or pop3?
