Email is plenty good enough for me when it comes to maintaining contact with
friends and family. Facebook and Twitter have a more 'urgent' and
interactive timeframe which to me borders on harassment. I like to compose
thoughtful and intelligently worded replies that require a bit of
contemplation.

To tell you the truth Facebook and Twitter are essentials for smart phones
and computers. It helps you connect with friends and family that live far
off or even close by. But then I'm getting old too, took me awhile to get
used to it :)
