It's a CPU heat sink. It just clips on. I think the owner is a
smoker because the heatsink is completely gummed up. I can't scrape it off.
Just check all connections again, maybe the button battery, make
sure something isn't grounding the board out on the back plane?
I took the motherboard out, so unfortunately it's not
grounding. I'll pull the battery though.
