I have a tester with a load on it, they are cheap.
Just get one, I use it for not only the coin batteries but also all the
batteries around the house. Really worth it, imo.

Please check the m/b 'coin' cell. I raised a question some years back

I do replace my 'coin' cells when I start seeing boot behavior that

I can NOT stipulate what measurable voltage indicates a bad cell.
But, when I measure a cell at ~3.0xx vdc,
A little trick that will help determine a bad bios battery (Cr2032)...
Get a yellow LED and connect it directly across the battery. If it
glows brightly you have a good battery. Obviously if the battery is
weak then the glow will be poor. These LED will glow with 2.1volts. A
battery that gives a poor glow is toast. Try a few batteries to get an
idea.
I replace the cell. That
is my story, and, I AM sticking to it! If only because I still run
10+ year old m/b's that sport fresh 'coin' cells. I do not recall
the last time I had a 'weird boot' situation. And, my BIOS
selections remain active. Best,
