Looks like the days of my lovely WinPE disk are at an end. I have tried
it in three different Win7 systems and it BSOD's on boot. Assuming it's
some new hardware issue.
What I used to do is load WinPE (Mine a custom job by Wayne Johnson) and
bring up the cmd prompt and xcopy /r /i /c /h /k /e /y from the src to
the dst. I tried this inside Win7 and permissions/ACL's get in the way
and it errors and won't copy everything - that's why WinPE was nice.
Just trying to take an exact file by file copy from an old XP install to
a Win7 machine just so I have the old drive's contents there for safe
keeping in the C:\OLD_DRIVE dir...
All I can find is image software and I don't want to image... I'm
running out of Sour Patch Kids to cope with my dilemma!
HELP!
