OK, I need a current run down of some network confusion!
I run a home LAN (wired).
I use the 10.x.x.x series.
Yes, I know this is called "Class-A private."
I read that I am supposed to use a Sub-Net mask of 255.0.0.0.
OK..............???
But,
I use a Sub-Net mask of 255.255.255.0.
I can defend this choice.......(personally)......... :) even though YOU
may
have differing opinions.
Should I upgrade 6 clients to Class-A 'specs?'. Wondering?
Can do. What's another 2 days....of retirement........... :)
