Just checked mine.  Turn off monitor: 30 minutes.  Put computer to sleep: 
Never. 

That's probably why I hear the email chime going off.  I still would like the 
Hdds to spin down.   Nothing for the ssd to do since I'm not going to dump 
memory to it.
