I'm working in a company that build GSM modems, and they have special
wireless CPUs that can run both the GSM stack and a custom application
(plain C code compiled with gcc).
If you want to play with AT commands and other bits, convincing Openmoko to
use a Wavecom wireless CPU in GTA0x seems a better thing :)
