Hi, I own a Mio P350, that is almost identical to the P550. Using the settings
found by minos I managed to get to the same point he is. I tried different
kernel images compiled for s3c24xx - some compiled by myself and one from the
rx3000 project. The results vary, and I'm not sure that the kernels would
work if they booted correctly at all. The rx3000 kernel, after showing a
screen filled of light-coloured dots, left me to a black screen. My own
kernels instead showed me a screen with the light-coloured dots and then
another screen of mainly red-colored dots. I also tried a kernel from the
Rover project, not compiled for s3c24xx and so probably not working. It hung
showing me a half (light) coloured-dotted screen and a half black screen.
I hope this information can help in tracking the problem. Do you have an idea
on how we can solve it? Thank you!
