Can someone explain me the importance of the MTYPE parameter value? My hardware (HTC p6300 -- panda) doesn't appear in the mach-type (as in the CVS, http://handhelds.org/cgi-bin/cvsweb.cgi/linux/kernel26/arch/arm/tools/mach-types) What can I do? How this value is used by the kernel?
