I spent an hour or so yesterday afternoon trying various different versions of
haret
(the windows pocket pc 2003 startup screen/touch screen calibration get very
tedious
quite quickly) the results were:

Every version of haret I tried (0.3.6, a few from 0.4 and 0.5.0, 0.5.2) all
booted the
really old kernel I found (thats about 950kb large 2.6.12 which boots into an
initrd image
and thats it).

I tried replacing the kernel zImage with that of a later kernel, the last one
ported by the
last maintainer of the port (2.6.21-hh9) none of the haret versions booted the
initrd
image and all resulted in the device restarting without any kernel messages
appearing
on the screen, with 2 exceptions the 0.4.9-pre version (that I can't remember
where I
got it from possibly the broken link to the last maintainers files) and the
0.3.7-rx1950
haret loader from the rx1950 port.

I'll try that as well when I get a moment, looked into it yeterday but didn't
have enough
time to look into installing the compiler.

I'll look into this in more depth and send the log files as well when I get
home (currently
in my lunch break). I may also see if the current rx1950 maintainer knows whats
different about there haret loader than the standard releases.

Thanks for your suggestions,

I hope to get back to you soon with more information.

Daniel
