I'll give that a try if I find  time.

I highly suspect this is the case after all the versions I've looked into, 
unfortunatly I'm 
still waiting for a reply from the rx1950 maintainer regarding what patches 
he's aware 
of being applied for the s3c2440 family of chips that didn't get commited to 
CVS.

I will keep you informed, there is however an interesting post on the 
maintainers blog 
regarding haret issues he worked around to get suspend/resume working that 
might 
be worth looking at.
