I had a great experience today. I got re-attuned to usui reiki level I. The only reiki attunement I've had in person has been to level I. Unlike my first reiki attunement, the teacher really took her time when giving each of us the attunement. I felt like a lot of blockages I have all over my body were clearing up. I feel like I have so many blockages all over, especially on my hands, head, heart, and spine. It was nice to meet with other like minded people, too. I'm going to do reiki on myself and meditate everyday now. I'm going to try to think about my chakras (especially over the next 21 days) everyday also.
And I realized something that I've been doing wrong. Usually, I try to think positively, but I didn't realize how much my thoughts affect everything. The lady that attuned me was saying how she has a friend with a lot of problems. Her friend always says "it could be worse," and then... it does get worse. I'm going to try to be more mindful of my thoughts now and imagine everything already being how I want it to be. I feel... happy. But, despite this, there's also the feeling of something negative outside me (from behind my back). It makes me feel cold. I know it wants to make blockages that hurt me and so forth (I've mentioned this in more detail in other posts). Unlike most psychic attacks, it specifically wants to attack *me* even when I make it more difficult by fighting it off. My question for the group is this: I know reiki is always with you once you've been attuned, but can something interfere with your ability to send healing? I've been attuned for awhile now, and everytime I practiced reiki I never felt anything. I can always feel when people send to me though, and I'm pretty sensitive to energy in general. Now I think that reiki is just very subtle feeling (at least in my case). Perhaps it will get easier to feel the more I practice? I think to get over what is currently afflicting me I will need strong support from others (as much as I want to do everything myself). I will have to utilize everything that I can: energy healing, salt, cyrstals, magic, sage/incense/oils, spirit guides/angels/god, etc. I hope I can get the reiki level II attunement soon. I also hope that I can get better at healing myself, and make a strong shield (in addition to grounding/centering). Oh, and thank you to everyone who has sent me healing (in response to my last request). You guys are wonderful!!!
