I was wondering what people here think about the cost of reiki attunements. I, personally, want to get my second reiki attunement in person, but I simply can't afford the price most teachers charge. I'm a college student, so I can barely afford to pay for my textbooks, more less spend hundreds on reiki attunements. Anyway, I know that some things have to be paid for: manuals, certificates, compensation for a teacher's time, rent on the space where attunements are given, etc. But I know an attunement coming up in my area where the teacher is doing it all in her own home, yet still charging $250 per person. The class is only 8 hours long. It was only $150 for my first level... why did it go up so much for level 2??? I just can't afford it right now; I don't think people should be turned away from reiki simply because they can't afford... what do you guys think?
