It is with great sadness that we at Congregation Emanu-El of the City of New York report the death of our beloved Museum Curator Emerita and Senior Archivist, Reva Godlove Kirschberg on Friday, August 22. Reva's funeral was held at Temple Emanu-El on Monday.
Among her many accomplishments, Reva was the artistic force behind the creation of the Herbert and Eileen Bernard Museum of Judaica at Emanu-El. Her enthusiasm for and knowledge in the areas of Judaica art, Reform Jewish history and genealogy will not soon be equaled. Reva was also a member AJL.
