Shalom, Antonin - you need to ask someone who is knowledgable about NZ
copyright law for a definitive answer, for example some one in reference
dept. at the nearest university library to you. However, in general, most
English speaking countries follow the pattern of "life of the author + 50
years" as the term of copyright protection. So you likely are in the
clear for an 1840 publication. Find out when Fuerst died to be certain.
