Hi Everyone,
I can join Barbara and June in their chorus of praise for last weekend's
conference, but let me strike just a slightly different note. My song is
filled with pride that Sinai Temple Library was hosting this exceptional
event. I can't tell you how delighted I am that Lisa's initiative and
Suzi's inimitable follow-through brought such distinction to a place I
called home for over 20 years.
We all know the legend about the joy of planting trees that will bear
fruit for our children. Last Sunday, I saw that whatever I may have
planted during those many years at Sinai is thriving, expanding and
becoming truly a source of inspiration for our community and
colleagues. Lisa and Suzi, thank you both, along with Mt. Sinai, all the
Library Staffers and the AJL people who supported you, for the wonderful
event and for the pleasure of sharing the fruit of your effort.
