Dear Safranim, Does anyone know the source of the quotation that was part of the "Library Prayer" posted on Hasafran a few months ago? It was attributed to a "medieval poet" and reads as follows:
"The book will join you in solitude, accompany you in exile, serve as a candle in the dark, and entertain you in your loneliness. It will do you good and ask no favor in return.
