Shalom Safranim and Hag sameah! I thought this might be of interest to some of you... this is a siddur with translation into Arabic in Arabic Script... not Judaeo Arabic in Hebrew Script. It has been re-released by the grandchildren of the original author. David Hirsch Announcing the re-issue of the Siddur Farhi for Daily, Shabbat & Festivals Prayers At the beginning of the 20th century, in Cairo, Dr. Hilel Farhi was the first to ever translate the Sephardic daily prayers book to classical Arabic. His translation of the Sephardic Daily and Shabbat Prayers has been widely acclaimed to be a masterpiece of poetic liturgy. The Siddur Farhi (New Edition: 562 pages, 6.2"x 8.8") has been the only Arabic translated prayer book in many Egyptian, Syrian and Lebanese synagogues throughout the Middle East. Since 1948 and following the numerous Jewish exoduses from Arabs lands, most of these prayer books have been lost or left behind. Now, more than 70 years after its last publication, and for a limited time only, the Siddur Farhi, is available again as a valuable collector's item and for daily use as well.
