I for one would keep the UJE as well.

It was produced in the late 1930s-early 1940s, at a time when there was a
lot of overy anti-Semitism.

The UJE is almost top-heavy with information about Jews in American
history, society, and life. The UJE had as a not-sohidden agenda to
demonstrate just how very "American" American Jews were.

Yes, it is rather dated, but there is valuable info there you will NOT find
in the EJ (which was meant to be a tombstone) and the JE (which is horribly
slanted away from the US)

If you do not want to keep it, I know there are historians and genealogists
who would give their eye-teeth for a set! The JE is, as Ann points out,
on-line. The EJ is available on CD-ROM. But the UJE is a neglected and
forgotten resource!
