Dear Elana, The Jewish Women's Archive produced a discussion guide for a film series on Images of Jewish Women in American Film. This might be a helpful resource for your course. The guide includes an introductory essay, a brief introduction to each film, and discussion questions for each film. All of the five films included in the series are easily available from most video rental stores.
