A short story I wrote, "Small Rotations of the Earth," won third prize in this year's Moment Magazine short story contest. The story will be published this spring in Moment (April or June issue), and I will be honored at an awards reception this Sunday, Nov. 7, at 7:00pm at the JCC of Greater Washington in Rockville, MD -- part of the JCC's annual Jewish Book Festival. I have been writing and publishing short fiction for a long time, mostly in small literary journals. I am very excited that this story will reach a broad audience of Jewish readers.
