Since a number of us are active in both AJL and ALA, I would not like to
see us ever put in the position of choosing one over the other.  I almost
always go to both as, e.g, I have long been an active member of ALA's
Jewish Information Committee.  Since the two conferences often come close
to each other in time, I vote categorically for continuing to not have
them ever coincide.
