Dear Prof. Cooperman - I was deeply saddened to read your notice, but am grateful to you for your beautiful words and for forwarding Marcia's son Aryeh Goldberg's message. My condolences to you and to all of Marcia's colleagues at UMaryland. I met Marcia just a few years ago when she served as a cataloger at the Gratz College library in Philadelphia. I remember her smiling and telling me once when I asked her about the kinds of materials she had worked with - "I can catalog anything!" The monument of entries you movingly describe that Marcia built at Maryland certainly attests to that!
