Yes. My idea is that you will NOT find them.
For example, look at p. 192 of the SIDDUR KOL YAAKOV by ArtScroll, 1984,
ISBN 0-89906-650-x. You will NOT find these prayers.
The reason is very straightforward: the blessing reishet smichat g'ulateinu
("the dawn of our redemption" in one [C] source or "the promise of our
redemption" in the 1985 Siddur Sim Shalom) is unacceptable to [O] people
because, as the local Chabad rabbi explained to me, "The State of Israel was
not founded on halakhic principles." Therefore, you do not pray for the
state nor, presumably for the soldiers who defend it.
At one point, I was shaliach for birkat ha-mazon at wedding meal at which
all sorts of Jews (and quite a few non-Jewish friends) were present. I
simply took the subversive position that I would insert these prayers at
appropriate places, i.e., after the usual ha-rachaman ("The Merciful
One...") while using the ArtScroll bentscher.
DON'T TRY THIS AT HOME, which is to say, don't do this unless you are sure
you will not offend your hosts or guests. In my case, I saw several [C]
rabbis in the group look up and smile at me when I did the insertions.
