Heidi Estrin and I both read The Book Thief by Zusak (an Australian young adult author) and we LOVED it. As children's editor of Jewish Book World magazine, I am giving it a starred review. Heidi reviewed it and the review will be out in the May/June issue. It is highly imaginative and engaging and well-written. It would be a great pick for older YA, but I am going to push it as an adult novel--I may even use it for my book group...
