We tried having the library open on Saturdays, but did not get much traffic so we discontinued it. The way we did it was to have name cards printed up for each member. If they wanted to check out a book, they paperclipped their name card to the issue card. We have not done this since we are now computerized, so I am not sure how to make it work with no issue cards.
