Shalom! Librarian needed for preschool-8th grade Solomon Schechter School in Jacksonville, Florida. Martin J. Gottlieb Day School is a small community with 140 students in grades K-8, and additional preschoolers. Librarian sees K-5 classes one time a week for 40 minutes each. Currently we have one kindergarten, one first grade, one second grade, two third grades, one fourth grade, and one fifth grade. Library visits include library skills, story time, checkout, etc. Jewish author studies, holidays, and torah portions form the basis for our story time curriculum. You don't need to be Jewish to work here. Very friendly, helpful faculty and staff. High parental involvement and support of library program. Wonderful community.
