Dear Colleagues:
It isnt very often that our profession gets a chance to express its opinions. I had the privilege of being interviewed by the Jewish Exponent for a feature of theirs. I want to share the article with you all because it is important for us to express our professional opinions as well as our angsts to the public. In the computer age people lose sight of the importance of libraries and the service we provide to researchers. The article came as a result of a visit by the managing editor of the paper to the college. I would humbly suggest that we all try to get the word out about what we offer in assistance to people from the casual researcher to the academic. Our roles have not changed just the methodology of the way we assist.
