I wouldn't worry about your congregants who want to read Carter's book. Keep in mind that as a book written by an former president of the United States, it will be available in every public library and your patrons will have no trouble getting it. As a librarian in a Jewish library, given its inaccuracies and anti-Israel bias, I wouldn't waste my money on it and increase Carter's profits.
