I think your choices are great. I was just in Phoenix in March and spent about 3 hours at the Botanical Garden. I almost bought a membership knowing I would want to be back in June, but was told it gets very hot, So an early morning foray is the only way to go. I was told that it is too hot in June and sometimes during the day they need to rescue people on the trails. I take this as a warning to take water. It was by the way quite hot when I was there in March, about 90 degrees. Anyways add me to the list of those wanting to join you since I want to see the Garden again. It was awesome. Noni Rudavsky
