Century German Orthodoxy Manuscripts and Novellae - 2nd Volume.

Rabbi Seligman Baer (Yitzchok Dov Halevi) Bamberger of Wuerzburg - 
(1807-1878) - "The Wuerzburger Rav"

"KISVEY RABBEINU YITZCHOK DOV HALEVI ME-WUERZBURG" - in Hebrew - 
large-format book -       573 pages - rich with variegated writings - 
never published before.

The present volume is divided into six sections and includes Rabbi 
Bamberger's Novellae and commentaries on various tractates of 
Babylonian Talmud, also notes and an expanded edition of "Koreh 
B'Emmeth" , as well as letters and correspondence between Rabbi 
Bamberger, Rabbinic contemporaries and disciples in 19th Century Germany.

The book also contains a biography of Baron Ernst von Mannheim - "The 
Ger Tsedek of Wuerzburg" - (1869-1944) whose brother was a General in 
Hitler's Wehrmacht and who allegedly in 1943 capitulated with 80,000 
German Troops in Stalingrad.
