Shalom. I have two questions for Athena users. Recently, when I was trying to add a copy to an item, I was surprised to see that the items (which we have only ONE copy) appeared 4 times with the SAME exact barcode number. I printed a shelf list and found a large number titles with the same problem, but was unable to find anything that they have in common.
I called Athena tech support: One advice was to do a full check a collection. When I told them that I did it they suggested to do it again. As you guessed if it did not work once it will not work again. I felt that the tech hoped that I will call again and get another tech. When she was unlucky to get me again she suggested to go Export Marc Records and click on Export as a single copy, which as you may know serves for export. I have this problem on titles that were catalogued in-house original not transported. My questions are; 1) Did it happen to you ? 2) Are you satisfied with Athena support ?
