Margo shalom,

I would use:

ISRAEL-ARAB WAR, 1948-1949 (Deir Yassin)

or

ISRAEL-ARAB WAR, 1948-1949 - Deir Yassin

As Jewish libraries we should refrain as much as possible from using
Palestine .

Instead:

Eretz Yisrael
Land of Israel
British Mandate of Palestine
Palestinian Authority

We, as educators as well as librarian, should never present Palestine as
though it is or was ever an independent State. To the Jewish People it was
Eretz Yisrael.
To the Christians it was the Holy Land. To the Arabs it was part of Southern
Syria. To the Greeks and Romans it was Palestina (because of the
Philistines). To the British it was Palestine. So as Jews, let's us Jewish
concepts and terminology.
