Hi! The Agency for Jewish Education works in collaboration with our Jewish Community Center during their Jewish Book Fair in order to assist in funding a promoting a speaker/author whose topic deals with parenting Jewish children. We would prefer to have a speaker who is very supportive of Jewish Day Schools since the funding comes from our Jewish day school initiative.
This year we had both Wendy Mogel and Meredith Jacobs (separate programs) Next year we hope to have either Wendy Mogel speak on her teen book or Joanne Doades speak on her parenting Jewish teens..but we need someone that will attract parents with younger children. We'd ideally like an author whose book is relatively hot off the press FYI- Anita Diamant has recently been in our community. Thank you for any assistance you can give.
