This past year, our local JCC's "Jewish" Book Festival (the
organizers of which--I feel--should really listen to Heidi's most
recent podcast) hosted Sharon Duke Estroff to speak on this
topic. My wife attened her presentation and bought her book "Can I
Have a Cell Phone for Hanukkah?: The Essential Scoop on Raising
Modern Jewish Kids" (New York : Broadway Books, c2007) which she
really enjoyed. Ms. Estroff is a syndicated columnist on Jewish
parenting whose articles appear in a variety of Jewish
newspapers. From what I understand, the book is aimed at parents of
younger children.
