Dear Esther,

On behalf of the Avi Chai Bookshelf program and personally, I want to
thank you so much for the wonderful and lasting contributions you
have made to furthering Judaica librarianship, particularly in school
libraries.

You helped create the shidduch between AJL and the Avi Chai Bookshelf
program, allowing many school librarians to attend the AJL Convention
for the first time. They have continually cited their attendance at
the Convention as one of the major contributions the Avi Chai grant
has made to their professional development. You also helped design
and implement the grant's mentoring program and headed the committee
that helped us settle on WebEx as a vehicle for delivering our online
workshops.

This is just the tip of the iceberg. Over the years, you have been a
source of information and inspiration to many new and seasoned
Judaica librarians, and I know you will continue to be so in the
future as well.

May you go from strength to strength as you move into this next phase
of your career.

With admiration and fondness,

Diane Romm
Avi Chai Bookshelf Coordinator
