I find David Elazar's posts extremely helpful. As a librarian in a
Day School and Synagogue, I need to know about recent materials
available about Israel. David does a service for all of us by
providing this information.

As a member of the AJL Board and Council, I do not see his posts as
political. He does not give his political opinions with these posts,
but shares with fellow librarians information about publications that
may be of interest. I also find the photos of those making aliyah a
useful source of primary source documents that I would otherwise not
have access to.
