Does anyone know what happened to a site/resource called "ALEPH Jewish Education Database"?
I had an entry on a few of my user guides to ALEPH Jewish Education Database http://har2.huji.ac.il:4500/ALEPH/eng/JZF/JED/JED/START The link now results in a message: An error has occurred on the server Click back to restart. I backed the URL up a few units until http://har2.huji.ac.il:4500/ALEPH/eng/ where I retrieved a page with the message This catalog is no longer active To access the library's new Aleph500 catalog click here: http://jnul.huji.ac.il/eng/aleph500 Clicking on that link eventually gets me to the Jewish National and University Library Main Catalogue http://aleph500.huji.ac.il/F But this appears to be something different from ALEPH, my starting point, which I believed was another article index. I already have an entry to the RAMBI index of articles on Jewish studies. I thought ALEPH was a distinct article index. However, if I google "ALEPH Jewish Education Database" as a phrase, my own pages are the only ones retrieved. I'm feeling like everyone else know that the location of the party changed except for me. I call on the collective wisdom of the group to point in the right direction (I didn't say "tell me where to go!).
