HI-- My library was originally shelved with general and Judaica separately. The genral collection was catalogued, the Judaica mostly not. I automated the general and added the English language Judaica, using Dewey basically in the 296 range. We now have to catalogue and enter the Hebrew (we'd done some in Winnebago using transliteration but now use Opals).The Hebrew was originally kept sepaprate and we're keeping that way--I can't see putting the Sifrei Kodesh together with the general and I have no interest in inter-shelving Hebrew and English Fiction (when the kids do a Hebrew book report, they are only looking at Hebrew books). I would probably keep other Hebraica separate as well. The tricky part is --what do I do with dual language--Artscroll, for instance. Do I put the Artscroll Megilat Esther with 296.435 in general collection under Purim Holiday since it has info on the holiday in general, 296.1164 for Tanach-Megilat Esther in general collection because it's English (but has original text in Hebrew) based, English intro, English translation and English perushim, or put it in the Hebrew language collection--and then have an H prefix. Still a work in progress.
