Our library serves synagogue members from infancy through adulthood,
with over 7,600 volumes. Prior to running the synagogue library, I
taught high school English full-time.

In my experience, these books interest both adults and mature
teens. Teen readers for these books may be as young as fourteen- -
it depends on individual reading level and maturity.

Tatiana de Rosnay Sarah's Key
David Benioff City of Thieves
Markus Zusak The Book Thief
Jonathan Safran Foer Everything is Illuminated (for teens who
read avant garde fiction)
Dara Horn The World to Come

Regards,
Melinda Herman
