Save the date, Wednesday, March 14th, 2012, for the annual School Workshop sponsored by the New York Metropolitan Area Chapter of the Association of Jewish Libraries (AJL-NYMA). The workshop will be held at SAR Academy in Riverdale in the AM. Presenters include Mark Weitzman (Director of Government Affairs & Director of the Task Force against Hate and Terrorism, Simon Wiesenthal Center) whose topic is "Web of Lies: Distorted Images of Jews, Judaism and Israel in the Media"; and Joyce Levine (Librarian, North Shore Hebrew Academy High School, Great Neck, NY & President, Synagogues, Schools and Centers Division, Assn. of Jewish Libraries) who will speak about "Surfing the Treacherous Wave of Anti-Israel Propaganda: Guiding Your Students in Research on Israel."
